Kids Art Classes – Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to all Vivand Little Masterpieces children’s art classes, including half-term art camps and term-time classes (“classes”). “We” and “us” means Vivand Little Masterpieces. “You” means the parent or legal guardian who books a place. By registering your child you confirm you are their parent or legal guardian and that you agree to these terms.

1. Who the classes are for
Our classes are for children in Year 3 to Year 6 (usually aged 7 to 11). Classes take place in our family home studio. We send the full address when we confirm your booking and ask you not to share it publicly.
2. Booking and payment
- Sending the registration form is a request for a place, not a confirmed booking.
- We will contact you to confirm availability and payment details. Your child’s place is confirmed once payment has been received.
- Payment is due in full before your child’s first session, unless we agree otherwise.
- Prices are per child, per day (or per class for term-time classes), as shown on our website at the time you book.
- Early booking discounts are offered at our discretion and are applied when we confirm your booking.
- If a class is full we can add your child to a waiting list.
3. Cancellations and refunds
If you cancel
- 7 or more days before the session: a full refund, or credit towards a future class if you prefer.
- Less than 7 days before the session: no refund, but we will offer a credit if we are able to fill the place.
- Missed sessions (including late arrival, early collection or illness on the day) cannot be refunded.
If we cancel
If we have to cancel a session (for example because of illness), we will tell you as soon as possible and offer a full refund for that session or a replacement date.
Because our classes take place on specific dates, the 14-day cancellation period for online purchases does not apply (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, regulation 28(1)(g)). The rules above apply instead.
4. Drop-off and collection
- Please arrive on time and hand your child over to us in person. Please collect them on time at the end of the session.
- We will only release your child to you or an adult named on the registration form. If someone else needs to collect, you must tell us in advance and they may be asked for a password or ID.
- Children cannot walk home on their own.
- If you are running late, please message us. If a child is not collected and we cannot reach you or your emergency contact, we will follow safeguarding guidance, which may include contacting the appropriate authorities.
5. Health, allergies and medication
- You must tell us about any medical conditions, allergies, dietary needs or additional needs, and keep us updated if anything changes.
- Please keep your child at home if they are unwell, and for 48 hours after any sickness or diarrhoea.
- We can only give medication that you have agreed in writing, in its original packaging and labelled with your child’s name.
- If your child is injured or becomes unwell we will give appropriate first aid and contact you. In an emergency we will call 999 first and then contact you.
- For full-day sessions please send a packed lunch, a snack and a named water bottle. Please do not include nuts, as other children may have allergies.
6. Clothing, materials and artwork
- All art materials are provided. We use paints and materials suitable for children.
- Acrylic paint can permanently stain clothing, so please dress your child in old clothes. We cannot be responsible for damage to clothing or personal belongings.
- Artwork goes home once it is dry. Artwork not collected within 4 weeks may be disposed of.
7. Behaviour
We want every child to feel safe and happy. We expect children to be kind, listen to instructions and respect other children, our home and equipment. If a child’s behaviour puts others at risk or repeatedly disrupts the class, we will talk to you. In serious cases we may ask you to collect your child early, without a refund.
8. Photographs and videos
We love sharing what our little artists create. With your consent, we take photos and videos during classes of children painting and of their artwork, and use them to promote our classes, including on:
- our website;
- our social media pages (such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube);
- online adverts and promotional videos; and
- printed materials such as posters and flyers.
How we protect your child
- We never publish your child’s full name, school, address or any other details that could identify where they are.
- We only use images of children taking part in class activities.
- Photos and videos are taken on our own devices and kept securely.
Your choice
You give or refuse consent on the registration form. This is a separate choice from agreeing to these terms: if you say no, your child is still very welcome and can join in fully. We simply make sure they do not appear in anything we publish (we may still photograph their artwork on its own).
You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us. We will then stop using your child’s image in anything new and remove it from our website and social media pages where reasonably possible. We cannot recall printed materials that have already been distributed, or control copies that other people have already shared.
Please do not take or share photos or videos of other children at our classes without their parents’ permission.
9. Your information (privacy)
We collect the information on the registration form (your details, your child’s details, emergency contacts and any health information) so that we can run the classes, keep your child safe and contact you.
- We use health information only to keep your child safe, with your consent, which you give on the registration form.
- We use photos and videos only as described in section 8, and only with your consent.
- We keep your information securely and only share it when we have to, such as with emergency services or where the law requires it (including safeguarding).
- We never sell your information.
- We keep registration details for up to 12 months after your child’s last class, and then delete them, unless we need to keep a record for longer, such as after an accident or insurance claim.
You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to correct it, to ask us to delete it and to withdraw consent at any time. To do this, contact us using the details below. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
10. Safeguarding
Children’s safety and wellbeing come first. If we have a concern about a child’s welfare, we may share information with the relevant authorities as required by law.
11. Our responsibility
We take reasonable care of every child in our classes. We are not responsible for loss of or damage to personal belongings. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Changes
We may change class projects or activities as needed. We may update these terms from time to time; the version on our website when you book applies to that booking.
13. Contact us
Questions, changes or to update your photo consent: WhatsApp 07482 604057 or email vanda@vivand.art.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
